'아바'라는 그룹일 개인적으로 꽤나 좋아하는 편입니다.

 

한국에서 인기가 있던 시트콤 [올드미스 다이어리]에 빠지면서 부터죠.

 

그 시트콤의 주제가?! 인가요? 아무튼 I Do I Do I Do?였던 걸로 기억하는데요.

 

그 이후부터, 이 혼성그룹을 꽤나 좋아하게 되었습니다.

 

물론 지금으로는 그들을 직접 볼 수 없다는 것이 아쉽지만 말이죠.

 

 

 

음악 쪽에 조금이나마 관련이 되어 있는 분들이 하시는 말씀을 들어보시면,

 

'아바'가 해체를 하지 않았다면, 전세계 최다 판매량을 소유하고 있을 거라고 합니다.

 

게다가 그 활동기간도 짧다고 하니, 단기간 폭발적인 인기를 누린 그룹이라고 하더군요.

 

그들에 대해서 자세히 알지는 못 하지만, 그래도 딱 하나 알고 있는 것은,

 

그들의 노래가 꽤나 듣기 편안한 멜로디를 가지고 있다는 것이죠.

 

 

 

한국에서도, [맘마미아]라는 영화와 뮤지컬을 통해서 여전히 건재하는 그들.

 

비록 그들 넷이 다시 뭉칠 모습을 아마도 보기 힘들 테지만 말이죠.

 

계속, 그들을 섭외하려는 시도가 실패하고 있다죠?

 

그래도, 그들의 노래를 이렇게 들을 수 있으니 다행이 아닌가 싶습니다.
